Play Therapy
For Children and Youth in Ontario, Canada
Imagine if your child could see how amazing they are, even when their emotions make it hard to see.
Your child means the world to you… that's why it's tough when you find it hard to connect with them sometimes. You've tried everything from parenting books to chatting with friends but still feel at a loss. Then comes that call from their teacher, leaving you feeling out of touch and unsure how to help. As a parent or caregiver, it's natural to feel overwhelmed by the challenges your child faces. Witnessing their struggles with experiences, emotions, and identity hurts.
With play therapy, I'm here to help you and your child bridge that gap. Together, we'll tap into your inner strengths and manage your emotions by developing strategies that feel right for both of you.
“For children, toys are their words and play is their language.”

Meet Your Therapist
Hi, I’m Elda, a Registered Psychotherapist specializing in children and youth who struggle with managing their emotions. Through play therapy, I support them in developing effective emotional regulation strategies so they may fully enjoy their lives.
I engage with children and youth through a language that feels most comfortable to them - play. This space allows them to express and understand their experiences in a safe way, which helps them heal and learn. They learn more about themselves, connect with their feelings, and find ways to cope better.
How it Works
Step 1
When you're ready, you can schedule either an Intake Session or a Mutual Fit Call, and we can explore whether working together would be a suitable fit.
Step 2
If we agree to work together, we can set aside a particular time slot once or twice every week that would be exclusive for you and/or your child.
Step 3
We’ll have regular 50-minute sessions at the time we both agreed upon and monitor your and/or your child’s progress continuously. Parent feedback sessions are an important aspect of our work together.
