Meet The Larô Team
Our all-Filipino team combines professional expertise with our own lived experience as immigrants, bringing the cultural insight that's often missing from Western mental health approaches.
We believe relatability creates accessibility—when mental health care feels familiar and connected to your community, it becomes truly possible.

Meet Elda Almario
I’m Elda—a first-generation Filipino immigrant, psychotherapist, and big sister to an Autistic brother. I work with children, youth, adults, and families who are exploring identity, navigating transitions, or unpacking complex lived experiences like immigration, diagnosis, or generational trauma. Whether you’re feeling out of place, misunderstood, or just tired of masking or code-switching, I offer a space to make sense of it all—gently, collaboratively, and without shame.
My approach is grounded in cultural responsiveness, neurodiversity-affirming care, anti-oppressive values, and malasakit—genuine care. I draw from my lived experiences, training, and a whole lot of listening—to co-create a space where you’re not expected to perform or prove your worth. We move at a pace that feels right and focus on what you’re ready to explore.
I’m also a clinical supervisor and speaker, supporting racialized therapists and the wider community. Whether I’m mentoring others to decolonize their practices or speaking about mental health in our kababayan circles, my work is always about making care more accessible, human, and connected.
